The application is child's play with just three small steps.

  • insert

    A standard match is inserted into the smaller opening at the front of the Basic keli kean®. This should be firmly seated and not slip loosely. Otherwise, please insert a new match. If necessary, the holding extension can simply be screwed onto the Basic.

  • anzünden

    The match only needs to be inserted very tightly, because here comes the trick: the match is only pushed lightly over the lighting surface and not pulled with pressure. The strong pull can cause the match to break before it is struck. Therefore, save energy and work with feeling.

  • remove

    As soon as the match has burnt down, you can simply insert a new one the next time you light it, because our keli kean® is hollow inside. This means you can remove the burnt match with your fingers or insert a new one and the remains will simply fall out at the bottom.

what you really need to know

Cleaning

The quality product is easy to clean and made of stainless steel. This means that the match extension and the holding extension can be treated with water. The product made in Germany comes with a full guarantee.

Disposal

The product is made entirely of stainless steel and is only coated in black or real gold. The keli kean® Basic or the holding extension is therefore 100 per cent recyclable. If you do want to dispose of the product, you can simply send it back to us. We will then take care of the production cycle.

Storage

After use, the keli kean® can simply be placed in the wooden box provided or placed in the keli jar. Both storage options are suitable, even if the keli kean® has become a little warmer. Otherwise, you should take care not to place it on sensitive surfaces after use.

Childrens hands

Our product is safe to use but should not be left in the hands of children or used by children without adult supervision. Please always make sure that you inform your child about fire and its dangers before you use the keli kean® together.

Warnings

Product for holding matches and producing fire, mainly for use in fireplaces, barbecues, candles and gas cookers. Function of the product is only guaranteed with an additional match. Please note that safe operation can only be guaranteed if the match is jammed when inserted. If a match is loose or slips, it must not be used. Matches are a natural product and may vary in external dimensions. Product alone does not represent a hazard. Can cause serious injury if used incorrectly. Please follow the safety instructions for matches before use. When lighting, keep away from face, clothing and flammable objects - which should not be ignited. Ensure that the flame is completely extinguished after each use. May be fatal or cause asphyxiation if swallowed and enters the respiratory tract. Keep out of the reach of children or physically/mentally impaired persons. Not suitable for children under 12 years of age and only to be used under supervision. Keep away from children and pets. Caution when handling fire. Can lead to fire hazard. No liability for fire and consequential damage - as well as for personal injury and damage to property. Never leave a burning match unattended.
